Let's Talk Books...
Grab a cup of coffee. Pull up a chair. Unwind. The Edwards Book Club provides a comforting, yet, stimulating environment for book-o-holics and novice readers alike -- a place to gather and talk books. The Book Club offers a variety of pages to explore -- all with one interweaving theme: books.
Aside from telling you what we think, The Edwards Book Club provokes and encourages interaction. Throughout the site, you will encounter many opportunities to engage -- either with the written word itself, or with one of our reviewers. I have personally always been wary of book reviews, as they offer only one person's opinion of a text. We hope to offer a variety of opinions and discussion. At the end of every review, you will find an opportunity to respond. Multiple reviews will be printed for each publication, as The Book Club grows. We hope to produce a community...a community that likes to talk books.
So sit back. Take a deep breath. Slow time for the moment.
And let yourself enjoy a good book again.
